People at JRCT
Trustees
JRCT is governed by a board of voluntary trustees. As well as setting overall strategy, the Trustees make all grant decisions.
There are currently 11 Trustees, women and men with a wide age range and from a variety of backgrounds. All Trustees are members of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
Committees
Although all final grant offers are made by the Trust board, much of the detailed work of the Trust is carried out through grant-making committees of four or five Trustees with a particular interest in the area of work. Most committees also co-opt non-trustee members who bring additional expertise and wisdom to our decision making. A list of committee membership can be found in each of the relevant programme sections.
Staff
The Trust has a small core team of six full-time and five part-time staff. In addition, the Trust employs one part-time staff member to manage the Visionaries programme.
