The InterClimate Trust is a charity which aims to mobilise the energy and creativity of young people, inspiring them to become active citizens and leaders in sustainable, low carbon, economic development.
JRCT provides a grant through the Sustainable Future programme to the InterClimate Trust for its Climate Voices programme. Climate Voices is made up of a series of activities which are all designed to help young people more fully understand the relationship between the economy, the environment, and the role of politics – from participating in model negotiations and consultations to sharing their own views on sustainability directly with decision-makers. The work fits with the Trust’s Sustainable Future funding priority that seeks to enable marginalised groups and young activists to have a voice in decisions which affect them.
