Laila Alodaat is a human rights lawyer and feminist leader with over 20 years of experience in litigation, advocacy, and organisational leadership. She is the executive director of Prospera – the International Network of Women’s and Feminist Funds, where she works with feminist funds around the world to strengthen movements, shift power and resources, and build more sustainable ecosystems for gender justice.
Previously, Laila served as deputy secretary general of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), advancing global work on peacebuilding and human rights. She brings expertise in governance, philanthropy, peace and security, and systems change with a longstanding commitment to advancing human rights and strengthening grassroots civil society.
