VoteWatch Europe is an independent not-for-profit organisation which makes information available on each vote in the European Parliament and EU Council of Ministers. This data is widely used by researchers, campaigners and journalists. VoteWatch Europe also publishes analysis on voting patterns and provides online tools to engage young people and the wider public with European democracy.
JRCT makes a contribution towards VoteWatch Europe’s core costs through the Power and Accountability programme. The work fits with the Power and Accountability funding priority aimed at developing and promoting mechanisms which enable civil society and the general public to engage with government policymaking, at the EU level in this case.
