Deborah has spent more than 40 years working as a solicitor, and between 2022 and 2025 was Managing Partner of Slaughter and May, a leading corporate law firm. Between 2006 and 2018 she was a trustee of Trust for London, a foundation providing grants and thought leadership in connection with the remediation of poverty and inequality. From 2022 to 2024 she was co-chair of Legal CORE, a collective aimed at tackling the under-representation of ethnic minority groups in the UK legal sector.
Deborah has two grown-up children and lives in London with her husband and miniature dachshund.
Deborah joins her first board meeting at JRCT in September.
